Program Description

The
Area 1 Lead Liaison Program will coordinates services in Suburban Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will CountiesThey will provide training, or assistance with training, to LEA’s, school staff, social service agencies, and community agencies.  They will participate with their Continuum of Care and provides outreach within the community through dissemination of materials.  By removing barriers and establishing good working relationships with our schools and communities, we hope to ensure that homeless children and youth have equal access and opportunities to attend and succeed in school.
